음악적 자극부여가 수영선수의 시합 전 뇌파변화에 미치는 영향 (권성호외 2명/2013.09)

본 연구는 엘리트 수영선수를 대상으로 시합 전 음악적 자극에 반응하는 뇌파를 측정하여 각성수준의 변화를 추적하기 위한 것이다. 실험에 앞서 5명의 선수에 대한 선호음악을 수집하였고, 자극성 음악과 진정성 음악은 전문가 검토 후 연구자가 직접 선정하였다. 실험은 경기 직전 각 음악자극(선호음악, 비선호음악, 자극음악, 진정음악)에 대한 뇌파를 한 회기당 3분으로 개인별 측정하였고, 경기가 끝난 후 휴식상태에서 각 측정별에 따른 주관적 느낌을 인터뷰하였다. 측정된 뇌파신호를 상대알파, 상대베타로 나누어 상대적인 전력을 구한 후, 8채널의 평균값을 종속 t검증을 통해 그 증감을 비교•분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 각 선수의 선호음악은 자극성 음악이 3명, 진정성 음악이 2명인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 각각의 음악적 자극에 대한 주관적 인터뷰를 실시한 결과, 시합 전 음악을 청취하는 이유 그리고 각 음악자극에 따른 선수의 주관적 느낌이 다르다는 것이 확인 되었다. 셋째, 선호음악과 비선호음악 청취시 뇌파를 비교한 결과 상대알파에서는 선호음악이, 상대베타에서는 비선호음악이 활성화되었다. 넷째, 자극음악과 진정음악 청취시 뇌파를 비교한 결과 상대알파에서는 진정음악이, 상대베타에서는 자극음악이 활성화되었다.
 
 
The purpose of this study is to measure EEG signal of swimmers reacting to the musical stimuli before the competition to trace the change in the level of arousal. Before the measurement, the preferred and the non-preferred music of 5 swimmers were collected before the measurement and stimulating music and mollifying music were selected by the researcher through the review of them. For an experiment, each EEG signal for musical stimuli(preferred music, non-preferred music, stimulating music, and mollifying music) was measured just before the competition for 3 minutes per each session and the subjective feelings in accordance with EEG signal and each measurement were interviewed while swimmers were at rest after the competition. Measured EEG signal, relative alpha, relative beta were obtained and then a paired t-test was performed on the mean value of 8 channels to comparatively analyzed the variation. The findings from the experiment are as follows. (1) The preferred music of each player showed that there are three swimmers who prefer simulating music and two swimmers who prefer mollifying music among the subject. (2) As a result of the subjective interview with swimmers for the musical stimuli before the competition, important psychological factors that might affect the swimming competition were extracted, and it was identified that the reason why swimmers listened to music before the competition and the subjective feeling of swimmers varied depending on each musical stimuli. (3) As a result of comparing EEG signal when swimmers were listening to the preferred and non-preferred music, in relative alpha, EEG signal was activated in the order of "preferred music", and in relative beta, it was activated in the order of "non-preferred music". (4) As a result of comparing EEG signal between when listening to stimulating music and when listening to mollifying music, in relative alpha, the mollifying music was activated and in relative beta, stimulating music was activated.
